* ITIL Service Transition Process Lead 6 month contract *

As a Change Manager, they provide a single point of contact and are
responsible for coordinating all change functions across BITS (Bremer
Information Technology Services).  The primary objective of Change
Management is to enable beneficial Changes to be made, with minimum
disruption to IT Services.  They will be required to work with process
owner(s) and architect(s) to build the processes, design workflows and
report to BITS management on key metrics.

As a Configuration Manager, they are responsible for the creation and
maintenance of the Bremer CMDB.  They will be responsible for update of all
federated and non-federated attributes and creation of relationships as
needed.  In addition, they will ensure execution of the strategy and
operational plans to increase the depth and breadth of the CMDB over time.
They will work with the rest of the organization to ensure the CI data is
accurate and kept up to date.

Essential Duties:

*Change Management*

   - Overall responsibility for the lifecycle of changes within the areas
   under change control.
   - Works with area leadership to maintain a high performing, positive
   virtual team environment.
   - Ensures the establishment and operation of the Change Advisory
   Board(CAB) .
   - Ensures that Post Implementation Reviews (PIR’s) are conducted for all
   changes requiring a PIR.
   - Plans and manages support for change management tools and processes.
   - Maintains the change schedule and projected service outage(s).
   - Developing Change Management training materials and conducting
   training as needed.


*Configuration Management*

   - Implementation and maintenance of a CMDB.
   - Documenting existing data model (CI classes and attributes) and
   mapping (relationships.)
   - Developing Configuration Guidelines and associated procedures with
   process architects.
   - Designing and implementing the CMDB tool including CI entities,
   attributes, and relationships.
   - Determining CMDB data sources and populating data manually or
   automated via spreadsheets, databases, etc.
   - Developing Configuration Management training materials and conducting
   training as needed.
   - Performs audit and verification of CMDB information.

*Change and Configuration Management*

   - Works with the process owner to plan and coordinate all process
   activities.
   - Ensures that Local Control documents are created, maintained, and
   approved by management.
   - Monitors adherence to processes and reports gaps.
   - Accountable for the resolution and closure of any internally or
   externally identified audit gaps.
   - Participates in the Continual Process Improvement.
   - Ensures all activities are carried out as required throughout the
   service lifecycle.
   - Ensure integration between processes is working as designed.
   - Works with service owners and other process managers to ensure the
   smooth running of services.

*Required Qualifications:*

   - Minimum 5 years of working experience with technology operations
   - Minimum 2 years of working experience with databases strongly desired
   - Experience creating application or business service models (e.g. Visio
   diagrams, Rational Rose, etc.)
   - Experience working with project managers, architects, and platform
   teams to implement applications
   - Experience with IT Service management process (i.e. incident, problem,
   change, etc.) desired
   - Experience with Change and Configuration Management tools
   - ITIL Foundations Certified

*Highly desirable candidates will also have several, but not necessarily
all, of the following: *

   - 4 year degree in Computer Science
   - Knowledge of regulatory requirements
   - ITIL’s Release, Control & Validation Certification
   - Service Transition Certification
   - Experience with ServiceNow
