Please Reply to: [email protected] Phone screen followed by In-person interview Position : Yantra Developer Location : PA Duration : 3 - 6 Months Must be strong backend not front end with WMS on Yantra 7/8. Candidate will be primarily responsible for configuring and developing within a Sterling Commerce (Yantra V7.0 or V8.0) Warehouse Management system. Ensure the system can provide the service levels needed to meet or exceed business goals and expectations within a large Distribution Chain environment. The position requires the technical and business expertise to interface, convert and maintain several other business systems as well. Specific experience or skills needed: (3+ years required) Knowledge of Software Development Methodology and the ability to apply this experience when using software development methods practiced by the IT team. The ability to capture business requirements and translate them into a requirement and design specification that can be used to design and develop software to meet business goals. Create Unit test plans and perform testing. Oracle relational Database skills required A working knowledge of the Oracle Database Software with solid experience working with Oracle's development language, PLSQL, including tools such as T.O.A.D. A working knowledge of Microsoft IIS and web page development including HTML, ASP, VBSCRIPT, JAVASCRIPT, XML and XSLT transforms. HP-UX11 and AIX 5 experience necessary Knowledge of UNIX operating systems including shells, print queue, editors, and file systems. Microsoft Windows NT family including the office suite of applications (Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) English written and communications skills that will allow the individual to effectively communicate with team members, associates and vendors. Other experience or skills that would add value to the organization: A working knowledge of the Microsoft SQL Server with solid experience working with T-SQL, including tools such as Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer. Project management skills and experience with project management planning tools.
