Eden Prairie, MN The Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to develop and establish quality assurance standards and measures for the information technology services within the organization. This will include writing and executing test plans, test cases and tracking defects as they arise. The Sr. QA Analyst will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate software applications meets the client business requirements. The Sr. QIA works directly with the Lead QIA for their practice and the Quality Program Manager to identify areas of opportunity and ways to build and grow a world class quality program. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES* - Complete estimation, test design and planning and test execution for projects assigned. - Work with teams to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test cases/scenarios, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed. - Collaborate with Project Managers, Applications Development and Infrastructure leads to document, investigate and resolve quality issues. - Report, track and determine priority of reported bugs and investigating problems involving internal and external issues. - Provide relevant test scenarios for the testing team, and work with test team to develop system and integration test scripts and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations. - Ability to maintain and execute existing automation scripts. - Provide test progress report with metrics to project stakeholders. - Perform other duties as assigned or self-initiated. *JOB REQUIREMENTS * - 6-8 years of Quality Assurance industry experience with significant experience leading multiple software development testing efforts. - 2+ Microsoft SQL experience, working knowledge of Database, ability to write basic queries using SQL Plus - 2+ Microsoft Visual Studio & Team Systems - Automation scripting experience (selenium Java or C# ) - Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Knowledge of and experience using Agile methodology for project delivery - Comprehensive knowledge of testing methodologies and application debugging from a technical and business perspective. - Travel Industry Knowledge - Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including requirements analysis and basic application architecture knowledge. - Proficiency with web services testing tools to include (but not limited to) JMeter, SOAP UI etc. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team-oriented environment. Strong knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
