* Position : **SQL Server DBA with Powershell Exp. * *Location : Plymouth, MN * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone / Skype * *USC Only * * Job Requirement* · Provide primary support for Health Care Company SQL Server databases · Develop *PowerShell scripts* and automation to support our enterprise automation strategies and goals · Plan and design new SQL Server implementations, including database definition, structure, documentation and long-range requirements · Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the basic database management skills of database administration, web connectivity, physical structure, overall architecture, and database analysis · Provide standardization and consistency across environments · Apply database management consulting skills and gather user requirements · Provide on-call support, answer severity calls, and provide problem resolution · Design, implement, and monitor database functionality to ensure stable environments · Uphold enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new and improved guidelines *Job Qualifications:* · At least 3 years’ experience working with SQL Server 2008, 2012, or 2014 (strong preference in a production support role) · Experience with SQL Server DBMS monitoring and tuning · At least 3 years’ experience writing *PowerShell support scripts*, command lets, and functions for automated management tasks · Experience with SQL Server Always-On Availability groups · Four-year degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience · Effective verbal and written communication skills in both business and technical areas · Strong organizational skills to handle changing priorities, tight schedules, and correction of critical systems outside of normal working hours · Proven ability to maintain leading edge skills in a rapidly changing and fast-paced information systems environment *Desired Qualifications:* · Background in corporate job schedulers (i.e. IBM TWS) · Experience with third-party backup tools · Experience with third-party monitoring tools (i.e. Foglight) · Experience working with remote teams Regards Sandeep Chauhan Technical Recruiter VSG Business Solutions 221, Cornwell Dr, Bear, DE 19701 Contact No.: 302-261-3207 X 103 Email: [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
