Looking forward to hear from you... *Role: Big Data Architect* *Location: Milpitas, CA* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl.* *Total experience 10-15 years* *Job Description:* · Thorough understanding on Big Data, Hadoop Eco system, hands on experience of 2 end-end Hadoop implementations and any certification for Hadoop would be preferred. · Hands on with the toolsets –Hive, HBase , HDFS, Map Reduce, Sqoop, Spark SQL. · Preferably worked as an Architect in Big Data solutions that involved Apache Hadoop, Cloudera. · Extensive experience in processing data using No SQL scripts and has experience in writing UDF's based on the requirements. · Ability to define solution architecture & provide end to end BI integration view. · Any exposure on data Migration project using Hadoop ecosystems components from traditional data warehousing and BI system is preferred. · Proficiency in systems design, programming, testing, implementation, documentation, training, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork. · Understand the business requirements and be able to build relevant use cases and Hadoop applicability. · Infrastructure understanding and sizing requirements. · Code review, performance tuning of No SQL queries. · Coordinate and review Pre-production activities. · Strong communication skills – verbal and written for both internal and external relationships. · Experience of working with RDBMS as well as No SQL database. · Good knowledge on the concepts of Data Warehousing, Data Marts, Dimensional Modeling, Fact and Dimensional Tables.
