*Job Title: BI/ETL Developer* *Location: Richmond, VA* *Type of hire: 6+ months Contract* *Interview Mode: Telephonic and Skype* Experience Required: 8+ years The qualified candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in three major areas, including: Informatica PowerCenter, database design, and data warehousing. Primary Responsibilities: · Provide technical expertise and “hands on” participation in creating, maintaining and implementing enterprise data solutions. · Design, development, and delivery of data (both real-time and batch) from operational systems/flat files into a staging area, ODSs (operational data stores), Data Warehouse and downstream Data Marts. · Expert in Informatica PowerCenter · Develop mapping/sessions/workflows · Troubleshoot, optimize and tune ETL processes · Create and execute unit test plans based on system and validation requirements · Extensively worked with large databases in production environments · Working with various IT teams to analyze data in the data warehouse, data mart or operational systems · Maintain existing code and fix bugs when needed · Adhere to and implement within internal standards, architecture concepts, and data access strategy with project deliverables. Skills and Knowledge: · The Informatica Developer is required to have proven experience and expertise in enterprise data architecture and database engineering design and development: · *8+ years’ *experience in designing, developing and implementing enterprise data solutions · 5+ years’ experience with development in Informatica · 3+ years’ experience with Teradata SQL and Stored Procedures · 3+ years’ experience with Database Platforms (in order of importance): o Teradata o SQL Server o Sybase (preferred) · Applied experience in data architecture for data driven applications · Ability to interpret business concepts into data models and physical technical components · Experience in the delivery of the physical implementation of enterprise conceptual and logical data model solutions · Ability to design and develop data access methods and data views · Excellent communication skills, including technical writing, interactions with customers and other non-technical personnel · Ability to clearly receive and convey information to a broader technical team · Other preferred experience & skills: · VB and Linux shell scripting · Experience working within an Agile delivery framework -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
