Business Objects Senior Developer:
The resource in this position serves as a Business Objects Reporting and
Data Mining programmer for the Bureau of Business Solutions & Services. The
incumbent will develop and deliver Business Objects reports from existing
transactional data stores as well as ODS and OLAP data stores. This includes
transactional, operational and analytical systems. Technologies leveraged
include Business Objects XI and Oracle 10g.
*Job Duties:*
1. Analyze reporting needs (in various forms ranging from detailed report
specifications to general descriptions of business need) and develop
solutions using Business Objects technologies, including Crystal Reports,
Web Intelligence, Excelcius.
2. Analyze multiple requests and requirements for BOBJ solutions,
rationalize these requirements and design common BOBJ services and sharable
reports to satisfy these needs.
3. Design BOBJ universes to serve as a source for operational and analytical
reports.
4. Work with other technical team members to integrate Business Objects
solutions with Microsoft .NET applications.

existing Oracle data stores as well as OLAP data store. This includes
transactional, operational and analytical systems.
*Complete Description: *
Microsoft .NET Senior Developer:
The resource in this position serves as a member of a .NET development team
working on DW/BI front end solutions with the Bureau of Business Solutions &
Services. The incumbent will development and deliver Business Objects
reports from existing Oracle data stores as well as OLAP data store. This
includes transactional, operational and analytical systems. Technologies
leveraged include Business Objects XI and Oracle 10g.
*Job Duties:*
1. Participate in the design and development of DW/BI front end applications
to be developed in Microsoft .NET technology. This includes applications
that support dashboards, data quality and data integration monitoring and
BOBJ integration.
2. Participate in the design and development of an enterprise application
architecture to support the rapid application development of DW/BI
applications.
3. Participate in the design and development of a system to collect, store
and disseminate enterprise metadata and data lineage for the DB/BI
environment.
4. Participate in the design of relationally modeled operational data stores
(ODS) and dimensionally modeled OLAP data stores.
