*ServiceNow Platform Architect*

Client seeks experienced consulting professionals in ServiceNow space to
architect solid IT service management platform for our clients to enable
them to transform from traditional IT organization to service based
organization.

As a senior member of the Consulting team, this role will lead engagements
implementing IT service Management using ServiceNow platform leveraging
Cognizant global delivery model. The ITSM Platform Architect can be based
anywhere in US and will be required to travel as needed to serve the
business. This position may require 80% of travel (Domestic &
International).



*Responsibilities: *

·         Architecting and designing implementations with the ServiceNow
ITSM platform

·         Develop roadmap and blueprints to enable client transition to
Service based organization with clear, realistic, and pragmatic goals that
are aligned with strategic direction

·         Customizing and developing for the ServiceNow Platform using
JavaScript, CSS, HTML and Other Web Based scripting

·         Demonstrated consulting expertise (gather requirements, problem
solve and recommend) in mid-sized and large (Fortune 500) customer
environments

·         Demonstrated ability to achieve high level of Customer
Satisfaction on all consulting engagements

·         Planning and managing discovery/ assessment activities and
defining high-level program/action plans

·         Identifying opportunities to drive more value from an
organization's IT strategy through targeted areas contributing to improved
business performance and innovation by addressing constantly changing
business needs.

·         Understanding the business implication of process-centric IT in
striving to achieve process excellence

·         Ensuring continuity for customer from pre-sales to delivery

·         Actively develop practice IP by driving continuous improvement of
the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools



*Basic Qualifications: *

·         Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.

·         10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Application
Development space.

·         5+ years of Consulting experience (client facing)

·         5+ years of leadership level experience with Enterprise
Management tools (such as IBM Tivoli, BMC, CA, HP) and IT Service
Management tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy etc.,

·         ITIL Certification (Practitioner or Service Manager Certification
preferred)

·         ServiceNow certification (Implementation certification is
preferred)

·         Strong knowledge of SDLC Methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile,
Scrum etc.,

·         Expert level knowledge in ServiceNow scripting and Web
Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP/S, etc.)

·         Deep understanding of the application development lifecycle
process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design,
scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment

·         Demonstrated Enterprise Architecture skills, especially in
Enterprise System Management and IT Service Management space

·         Ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team
consensus to move projects forward.

·         Ability to handle multiple and competing priorities
simultaneously.

·         Ability to develop and achieve clear, realistic, and challenging
goals that are aligned with targeted business results.

·         Self-motivated and able to lead and excel in a high pressured

 *ServiceNow Implementation Consultants *

The *ServiceNow Administrator *is responsible for implementation,
administration, development, documentation and technical support of our
client’s ServiceNow platform. The role emphasizes the use of the ServiceNow
Platform and ITSM applications in designing and building solutions for our
customers.

*Job Responsibilities: *

 Implement, Administer and support of our client’s ServiceNow platform

 Configure Workflow, Application UI and Customize ServiceNow applications,
Perform minor enhancements requests to the client’s ServiceNow instances,
including changes to the user interface, system properties, foundation
content, and modifications to existing workflow

 Facilitate roll out of new applications and modules in ServiceNow

 Handle general updates and configuration changes/requests

 Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions

 Ensure latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a
timely manner with minimal or no disruption to client IT operations

 Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards,
policies, working methods, and tools

 Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a
development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible

 Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, testing and
production environments



*Job Requirements: *

 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in software engineering
or related field

 6+ years of overall IT experience

 3+ years implementing ITSM tools; demonstrated experience with Incident
Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, Change
Management, Configuration Management and other ITIL process areas

 2+ years working with ServiceNow

 ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification

 ITIL v3 Foundation Certification and knowledge of ITIL governance and
control processes and procedures

 Experience leading and/or managing teams

 Strong Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows Operating Systems

 Working knowledge of Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS,
HTTP/S, etc.)

 Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Single Sign-On (SSO)
Integration

 Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Perl, UNIX shell
scripts)

 Working knowledge of cloud concepts and architecture

 Experience working with diverse teams both onshore and offshore
