Client is looking for* Sr .Net Web Developer/Programmer Analyst - NY-Long
Island*. This is a long-term Contract position. The hourly rate is
*DOE*. *Local
candidates are highly preferable*.
*Core Responsibilities:*
1. Code programs of medium complexity in multiple programming
languages
2. Write standard specifications for multiple programs of medium
complexity
3. Create and execute test plans for multiple programs of medium
complexity
4. Participate and/or lead quality assurance activities such as
documentation, code review
5. Query, extract, and update data in databases
6. Analyze and solve business or technical problems
7. Participate in project teams
*Additional Responsibilities:*
1. Update applicable administrative tracking tools and processes
2. Create/update process documentation
3. Mentor associates as appropriate
*Position Requirements/Technical Skills:*
*Mandatory requirements include: *
- Minimum of 4 years combined experience with writing application
software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation,
databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user
documentation, software conversions.
- Candidates must have minimum of 2 years experience in all of the
following:
- Designing and developing components using Visual Studio.Net and
Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Visual Basic.Net
- ASP Web Development experience utilizing Visual Studio
- Experience in working through all stages of the Software Development
Life Cycle

*Desired requirements include:*
- Experience with design tools such as Rational Rose/MS Visio
- MCSD Certification
The applicant must have experience in web development for a large
application. The application must be similar in size and scope to the types
of web development designed by a large government entity.
