This position is for a .NET Developer with strong Web Development skills. The candidate will participate on a team with several other developers. This role reports to the Web Applications Supervisor and collaborates with designers, projects managers, and IT professionals. Prefer local candidate. Required experience in the following: *ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>(C#), .NET 4.0 * *MVC 4* *Entity Framework 6* *WCF and Web API* *MS SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and stored procedures* Responsibilities: Consult with project manager and designers to understand business requirement for application being implemented. Create milestones and project time line estimates . Maintain and refine estimates as work is completed in TFS or other ALM tool.Recording work progress on a daily basis Documentationdevelop large scale web/database applications per NCDOT standards with a focus on future system maintainability.Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
