Under general supervision, collects, evaluates, and prepares research and/or
other complex statistical data for a specific unit of the institution.
Prepares statistical and narrative reports and recommendations, and
participates in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate.
Develops, maintains, and ensures quality control of databases and may assist
in development and implementation of measurement systems. 4 - 6 years of
experience.



Role: This role supports the accountabilities of the DMO Data Governance
Team in the delivery of enterprise data governance strategy, processes and
procedures.



Key Role Accountabilities:

• Assists with the development of the PepsiCo Data Governance Model.

• Facilitates Data Design Review process; pursues cross-functional experts
to ensure integrated solutions.

• Responsible for development of master data lifecycle strategies for
Customer, Material, Vendor, Finance, Cross Reference and other master data
objects.

• Develops Business Metadata Strategy for tracking all master data elements,
tables, structures, configuration, etc.

Develops strategy and change management process for ongoing management of
metadata.

• Establishes data enhancement strategy; defines the integrated approach and
creates project plan templates.

• Develops master data maintenance planning strategy; defines methods to
identify master data requiring post go live maintenance; develop surveys,
and communication plans.

• Facilitates creation of data maintenance & dual data maintenance
procedures; works with R&T and PCS to achieve program objectives and to
obtain business signoff on maintenance ownership and procedures.

• Facilitates and coordinates role mapping process for the DMO and
Enterprise Cross Reference users.

• Defines mass data maintenance strategy including controls and work intake
guidelines.

• Identifies or modifies master data security roles; understands and
supports SOX compliance requirements.

• Defines webpage strategy and publication method for master data
information.

• Develops and implements master data standards based on industry best
practices.

• Provides analysis and integrated solutions to eliminate recurring data
issues. This may involve documenting processes and/or business process
changes.

• Fully understand data, systems, and business processes within multiple
functional areas. Begin developing an understanding of use of data fields in
SAP and interactions with Legacy and downstream systems.

• Understands SAP transactions and business processes in the areas of
Accounting, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Order Management, Distribution, or
Material Management and Business Principles.

• Adjusts work assignments and schedule to meet changing priorities for self
and others; adjusts to multiple demands/priorities focusing on the big
picture.

• Demonstrates ''out of the box'' thinking when confronted with new ideas or
change. Identifies opportunities, analyzes issues, designs solutions and
integrates best practices for multifunctional areas.

• Work collaboratively within DMO team, cross-functional teams, and
management to establish best practices and win-win solutions.

• Assists in project planning, management, and integration activities for
small size projects or pieces of larger projects and regularly reports
project status to management, functional area, and business.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent oral, written and
listening skills. Ability to document processes, user scripts, and data
flows.

• Can work independently and usually plays key role.

• A data specialist/discipline specialist; data lead and expert in at least
one technology including the ability to build tables and write queries using
relational databases, i.e SQVI, SQL, TOAD or Access; knowledge of SAP and
its transactions preferred; extensive knowledge of Excel, Visio, Word, and
Powerpoint.

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or
Min 5 years related business experience.
