Location Nashville, TN Duration 6 Months Job Title SQL DBA JD • MS SQL Server Database Administrator is responsible for analyze, design, recommend and build of environment. • Responsible for the reliability, performance and recoverability of all database environments. • Proactive monitoring, alerting, resource management, capacity planning and reporting. Ensure the health, maintainability and security of database environments. • Timely response to operational incidents and problems within Service Level Objectives. • Troubleshooting and problem solving for systems in a wide diversity of implementations. Ability to research and generate root cause analysis documents. • Participation in periodic disaster recoveries and testing. • Develop and maintain environmental and procedural documentation. • Enforce policies, standards and procedures to ensure compliance and governance for regulatory requirements. • Execution of organizational and internal department initiatives. Includes build and implementation of systems in accordance with architectural designs. • Interaction with business units including application development and administration to promote efficient implementations and operations. • Proactively monitor and participate in performance tuning of applications. Requires expertise in Microsoft Sql Server database and SQL tuning and an understanding of application development methodologies.
