Kindly respond to this * *requirement with your updated profile and contact details.* *Note : If your are interested in this position ,please update your * *resume according to the Job description* *Contract Position:* Data Store Architect/Administrator – Business Intelligence *Location:* Sacramento, CA *Duration*: 6 months *DUTIES* · Define Distributed Data Store Architecture o Define the required architecture to host internal, non-public data in a secure distributed data store platform o Identify pre-requisites and dependencies for the required operating systems, storage, network, server and related tools. · Collaborate with Technology Engineers and Administrators o Document and communicate platform requirements o Comprehend existing internal and approved technology o Work with staff and processes to install, configure, maintain and administer supporting technologies and platforms · Engineer Distributed Data Store Platform o Document specific platform including: tools, configurations, pre-requisites, processes, interfaces, operating systems and servers o Provide or present architecture review documentation for approval and archival o Understand security requirements concerning IT assets including data, user accounts, access, logging and reporting o Design and implement perimeter and internal security for data, users, interfaces and tools to meet requirements · Administer Distributed Data Store Platform · Install, configure, validate and document all technical aspects of the platform · Monitor, troubleshoot and report platform status · Administer usage (accounts) in compliance with standards · Acquire, integrate, transform (as needed) and secure requested source data into platform · Provide performance, functionality, access and capacity recommendations · Comply with standard change control procedures · Design automated process to enhance the administration of the platform · Provide Distributed Data Store Education and Consultation · Provide direction to facilitate collaboration within BI · Mentor teams to leverage proven architectural, engineering and administration approaches and solutions · Facilitate reuse of common BI architectural components and ensure compliance with technology standards *SKILLS /EXPERIENCE REQUIRED* · At least three (3) years’ experience in some or all areas of *Pension, Health Insurance, Customer Service, Finance or Risk* · Must have participated in at least three (3) successful distributed data store projects, one of which with a budget of at least $1,000,000 · At least three (3) years’ experience serving as an administrator of Hadoop distributed data store environments (HDFS, MapReduce, Ambari, Hive, HBase, Pig, · Hive, HBase, Sqoop , MySQL (Hive metastore, Scheduling, Security, and data governance · Certification of Distributed Data Administration and Development skills, specifically Hadoop Administration and Development. · Certification of MySQL Administration skills. · Certification of NoSQL Development skills within a Distributed Data Store environment, specifically HBase. · Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a variety of audience types using different mechanisms including informal updates, formal presentations, business case documents, and other analytical and technical documents · Proven strong understanding of information technology fundamentals, project management fundamentals, and systems development life cycle -- Thanks & Regards, *Saidulu Nayakapu | Araucaria Enterprises LLC * 6002 Cypress Ct, Alpharetta, GA 30005, USA | Work: 1-404-462-3998 [email protected]| www.araucariatechnologies.com *This message and any attachments may contain confidential and/or privileged information and are intended only for the use of the intended recipients of this message.
