Client is looking for *Oracle Developer - Austin, TX*. This is a 6+ months
Contract position.

*DESCRIPTION:*
The work planned of this resource is on the “Automated System for Office of
the Inspector General – Integrated Eligibility Verification System
(ASOIG-IEVS) as an Oracle developer. The system is currently implemented
in production with a need for work to be done primarily related to database
level improvements and SQL tuning. More details of the application’s use
and intent can be explained during the interview process.
A. Assist with production and documentation of the deliverables.
B. Perform full scope of development, monitoring, and administrative
tasks related to the creation of a WebSphere/Oracle Web-based application.
C. Work in an integrated, team-driven, development environment.
D. Duties will involve actions related to all parts of the applications
lifecycle (development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and limited
customer support).
E. Transfer knowledge to transfer to all intermediate/junior level
development team members.
F. Follow HHSC CIT standards for web based applications
G. Develop and implement new or revised methods that effectively meet
agency needs
H. Documents agency IT processes to support IT software development
I. Prepare all required diagrams, charts, and tables that depict the
present and proposed system in terms of benefits derived, and tasks
accomplished
J. Provide technical leadership and direction to team members
K. Other duties as assigned.

3 Years: Hands on experience as an Oracle database developer involving

3 Years: Oracle SQL queries for large and remote databases.
3 Years: Writing stored procedures, triggers, functions and other
database objects in Oracle through the current release of 11g
2 Years: Producing clear and concise documentation (technical &
customer)

2 Years: Knowledge of Oracle versions starting with 9i through current
released product offerings
1 Years: Knowledge of Oracle database administration
1 Years: Knowledge of Windows & Unix
