Skills include: expertise in programming languages and experience of 6+ years. Must be able to develop JAVA based appl components using STRUTS Framework Javabeans, HTML and JSP. Must have experience with UNIX shell scripts and SQL load pgms. As a member of the Software Engineering team, this individual would be responsible for the following project/tasks: . Development for JAVA based application components using STRUTS Framework, Javabeans, HTML and JSP . Build UNIX shell scripts to launch stored procedures and SQL load programs . Create Autosys jobs . Competency in Oracle to work with SQL and develop Stored Procedures, Packages and Functions . Develop code, unit test plans and turnover documentation for component deliverables . Provide daily and after-hours support of the application on a rotational basis It would be a plus if the individual has Mutual Fund Industry experience so that there is an understanding of the business requirements behind the technical tasks. This individual must have the ability to work periodic evenings, weekends, etc. if required by senior management. Being on call for Production Support via a beeper is also required on a rotation basis. Skills (in order of priority) . JAVA . ORACLE 9i, 10g, 11 . PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers . SQL*Loader . UNIX Shell Scripts (Sun Solaris) Behavior Characteristics: Interpersonal Skills . Strong communication skills, both written and verbal . Enthusiastic . Demonstrates initiative .
