*Title: Network Architect*

*Location: Northern, VA / Mclean, VA*

*Duration: 3-4 months, can get extended*

*Must Haves:*

*a. WAN – top priority. Talk WAN – if they have experience even in Lab
– great – understand WAN optimization*

*b. WAN routing and optimization*

*c. Cisco IWAN*

*d. Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure*

*e. SD- WAN solutions and providers*

*f. Great with vendor selection*

*g. Good Leadership/Hands On*

*Interview: 1 phone interview – Looking to start ASAP*

Hands on: Example: “Here is how the solution should work. Need to be
comfortable going out and working with outside people – diving and meeting
with , let’s to go into the lab and set it up and I’ll walk others thru the
technology I use to get this working - here’s how we need to do it and I’ll
show you how.” Has architects and engineers there now – working in Retail
Channels – being Architect that can interface with them – “what can we do
with new technology to keep up with speed of business – understand how the
network looks like now and how can it interface with CapOne database.”

Problems they’ve had with previous interviews: People with troubleshooting
backgrounds, worked in a centralized network, can put together a solution
but cannot expedite it or explain it to others.

Environment: Team environment: core team – 5-6 people working on this
project – knowing WAN 1. Architect 2. Engineer 3. WAN / Firewall
personmultiple people to gather data and bring in new technology.
