*Title: MQ Consultant* *Location:* Fort Worth, TX *Duration:* 05/07/2010 The candidate will be a member of the MQ Team that is responsible for the Shared MQ infrastructure and must be a subject matter expert in the IBM WebSphere MQ products. This role will facilitate both infrastructure and customer facing projects. He or she will also be expected to possess in-depth knowledge of multiple technology domains and contribute his or her ideas as part of an Application Infrastructure team. The candidate will work closely with the support staff and assist on issues that are infrastructure-related or that require additional expertise to resolve.* Required Skills : *• Experience in engineering and administering IBM MQSeries products (5.3 and above). • Has strong understanding of MQ clustering • Experience with Pub / Sub messaging and Message broker. • Is able to provide 24x7 WebSphere MQ on-call support in an H/A environment • Has experience working with Security exits ( MQAUSX ) • Can troubleshoot TCP/IP intercommunication within zoned-network architecture • Experience with Veritas Storage Foundation H/A v4.1+(Clustering) to provide an H/A environment. • Prefer experience in Unix and Windows systems administration • Some Unix Shell Scripting • Hardware / Software architecture, design, testing and troubleshooting • Experience working as part of project team and can handle multiple projects simultaneously • Self motivated • Positive customer interfacing skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Candidate must be a team player who works and communicates well with technical and non-technical resources. Must have excellent Written and Oral communication skills and posses ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive.
