*POSITION : Sr. SAP Business Warehouse Analyst- Huge Project Location : Houston TX* *Duration : 6 months* *Hourly rate : DOE* 3-4 Positions Excellent verbal, written communication skills. Experience using methodology, creating design documents. Experience working in medium size Business Warehouse team(s), where coordination of shared objects occurs. Basic BW Skills: Experience in data modeling, gathering functional requirements, translating functional requirements into design specifications, creating info objects, info providers, creating BW reports including BEX and web application designer. Experience activating and enhance business content objects, enhancing standard SAP data extractors and creating generic data extractors. Experience with ETL (Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) using update rules, transfer rules, and data transformations. Experience with ongoing support and maintenance of production systems. Experience using SAP-BW 7.0 Experience creating interfaces into other SAP systems (ECC 5.0C and above, SAP-CRM, SAP eSourcing, SAP-GTS) Experience creating decision support / analysis tools. Understands the difference in creating single reports, vs analysis tools. Portal Skills: Experience leveraging SAP-EP using iViews to render BW information. Experience creating same ""look and feel"" attributes as another portal standard. Optional: Experience integrating into a Sharepoint portal. Platform Lead (in each of these areas) would possess the following skills: (I am thinking that it I might have a platform lead that would perform some of these items across platforms, so it wouldn't be required to have all of these items.) REQUIRED:: Excellent Communicator. Would be expected to be able to form alliances with the Technical Support areas, Architecture team, and other platform areas. REQUIRED:: (at least for change management purposes of existing staff) Expect on-site at one of our facilities REQUIRED:: Has excellent in-depth knowledge in the platform area. Experience working with medium size teams (>5) with both onshore and offshore resources. Experience leading transport / code migration processes Experience leading o technical design techniques o technical solution approach o creation of QA processes o evaluation standards o creation of team metrics o coding standards/guidelines (especially in latest-end versions of their platform.) o code promotion standards (especially in latest-end versions of their platform.)
