Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 10 or more years
experience. Description: Acts in the highest level technical role as an
individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer
applications and/or application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough
understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on
the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires
evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the
escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing.
Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts.
Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program
development, testing, and implementation process.

This position is for a PeopleSoft developer who will design, develop, and
implement Web services using *PeopleTools 8.46 and 8.49 with third-party
(Java based) web services (in-sync and out-sync) for PeopleSoft CRM BORM,
Sales objects and custom objects. Migrate/port existing web services from
PeopleTools 8.46 to PeopleTools 8.49*. NOTE: In our implementation of CRM,
the user does not use PeopleSoft directly so the PeopleSoft UI experience is
of no value for us. The critical skills that we are looking for are
experience with the modification of CRM data structures and the ability to
create / modify WebServices using Integration Broker and related tools.



 The candidate must have in-depth and hands on experience that covers
multiple years, multiple projects using all the following technologies: *-
PeopleSoft CRM Sales -- Leads -- Opportunities -- Notes & Tasks - PeopleSoft
CRM BORM v8.9 - PeopleTools Architecture - Database (Oracle preferred) --
SQL -- PL-SQL -- SQL Performance Tuning -- PeopleTools Data Mover --
PeopleTools App Engine -- PeopleTools Component Interface -- PeopleTools App
Package / PeopleTools OOP -- PeopleTools UI /Page design -- Send Master --
PeopleTools Integration Broker v8.46 and v8.49 -- Third Party Sync messaging
using SOAP -- Parsing and building XML messages using People Code -- Message
handlers / routing -- Compare Report & Project Migration -- PeopleCode Event
-- PeopleSoft Query -- PeopleTool Security -- PeopleCode Debugging
Experience -- OO Design -- Agile Methodology -- Testing framework *



The candidate must have experience working on multiple Agile projects over
several years that practiced joint code ownership, Release and Iteration
Planning, SCRUMs, paired programming, and continuous refactoring. The
candidate must have hands-on experience with the following technologies: *-
Send Master - PeopleSoft Sales Security -- Territory Tree -- Security
Profile -- Sales User -- PeopleTools Attachments -- JMS -- Job Scheduling*



 In addition to the skills called out above, the areas of expertise listed
below are needed to be a contributing member of our highly collaborative
teams: Capable of leading/discussing multiple design alternatives in all
layers of the system, highlighting the trade-offs for all design approaches
expressed on a per-story and task level. A complete understand of the
application is needed, along with knowledge on the patterns/best practices
used throughout the entire application. Capable of being a leader in a
highly collaborative lab environment with the ability to be an active
participant in technical and functional discussions with the business and
development teams. Experience in taking loosely defined user stories and
working with all team members to provide an iteratively designed and
developed, unit tested implementation meeting all business requirements.
Able to clearly communicate and lead discussions on design patterns,
technical improvements, and implementation strategies. Able to provide
direction, guidance and mentoring on all functional and technical areas of
the system for less experienced staff.
