The position works directly with the Information System Services team. The primary purpose of the Information System Services Section at Broughton Hospital is to maintain and manage expansion of the network of data and communications systems required by Broughton hospital and other supported entities, (Work Source West, Vocational Rehab, J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, NCSD). Supported systems include: a computer network consisting of 550+ PCs and associated cabling infrastructure, host platforms, and hosted applications. Other supported systems include: Telephone service for Broughton Hospital, J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center, Western Regional Vocational Rehab, as well as the Video Monitoring Network, Emergency Transmitter Body alarms system, TV signal, Overhead paging, and Access Control System for Broughton Hospital. The ISS Department also provides HIPAA Security Compliance and Living Disaster Recovery Planning Services. *Duties and Responsibilities of this position include:* 1. Monitoring and maintenance of Local Area Network. 2. Design and maintenance of both the hardware and software necessary for a computer network 3. Specialization in VMWare with focus on server virtualization and monitoring. 3. Configuration and monitoring of Cisco ASA firewall with failover testing. 4. Execution of disaster recovery / back up procedures and archiving procedures. *Skills Required* · *IP Layer 2 and 3 networking experience*.
