12 month contract Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; major or coursework in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS) preferred. Minimum 4-6 years of job related experience to include: design, development and implementation of technology solutions across multiple platforms including: Sitecore Web Content Management, Configuration and Customization. • Microsoft .NET framework, C#, ASP.Net MVC, Object Oriented Design, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5, Sitecore CEP 6.x and up • Visual Studio • Team Foundation Server (TFS) • Microsoft SQL data and reporting technologies • Internet Information Server • SharePoint • Microsoft Cloud Technologies (Azure) • Atlassian JIRA • Familiarity with end-to-end configuration and deployment, integration, end-to-end template configuration, and search. • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills combined with strong collaboration skills. Preferred: • Sitecore certification is desired. • Experience in various IT regulatory and compliance standards. • Experience in one or more methodologies such as Agile, Test Driven Development(TDD), DevOps and Continuous Integration etc. • Experience with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), service-oriented architecture (SOA) and familiarity with cloud-based architecture (AWS, Azure, etc). • Experience with Mobile application development, jQuery Mobile, Bootstrap, XAMARIN, PhoneGap. Responsibilities: Our Information Technology Applications Development Group is looking for a .Net/Sitecore developer with proven experience in Web Content Management and Microsoft technologies. Design, develop, test and implement technology solutions utilizing Sitecore/.Net technologies. Ensure technology solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards and principles while identifying opportunities for application reuse and extensibility. Design, develop and implement processes, services and best practices required for efficient and effective reuse for .Net applications and services. Design, develop, and support UI and UX application solutions. Design, develop, and support apps for mobile devices. • Track & report on progress using the ticketing system. • Document processes and procedures. • Coordinate and work on compliance activities tied to developed applications. • Create, modify, read and troubleshoot .NET code, SQL stored procedures and Sitecore features. • Gather user requirements and convert those requirements into robust technology solutions. • Provide wireframing, prototyping, testing/iteration, development planning around application design and help define best practices. • Provide execution and analytics, coordination with developer(s), tracking goals and integration around application design and help define best practices. • Take ownership of complex technical customer issues and provide development work for a product or solution. • Work independently to appropriately prioritize assigned workload and backlog; escalate issues to next level that require code interpretation to resolve. • Analyze logs and relevant data to troubleshoot and recreate customer issues on approved test systems.
