The candidate must have proven experience creating, maintaining and executing automated test scripts at the code level using Java. By applying this Java experience, the scope of the position is to work with IBM Rational Functional Tester (RFT) for web-based applications and Selenium/Appium for mobile-based applications within an established automation framework. 2. Exposure to Rational Team Concert (RTC) and Rational Quality Management (RQM) is a plus, but not required.* *3. Back-end database testing experience is important. Solid ability to create SQL queries and analyze the results. 4. Experience testing under various application environments including web-based, mobile and client/server. 5. Ability to review and understand business requirements, functional specifications and system design documents with the goal of performing a structured validation. 6. Experience using defect tracking systems and general knowledge of defect processing and control. 7. Capable of working independently or as part of a QA/Project team, as required by the project.
