Title: Testing Specialist (3 positions)

*Need local consultants only as f2f interview is mandatory*
*Job Description *
- Conduct functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing tasks
- Access, manipulate, and validate test data
- Validate contents of test files and capture testing evidence
files; document test results
- Create testing defect reports in Quality Center (QC) and track them to
resolution
- Develop and maintain test cases and report test results
- Escalate issues and risks in a timely manner
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and log UAT defects in QC
- Work with requirements analysts to ensure all requirements are timely
and accurately tested
- Participate in all joint application design (JAD) sessions, system
related walkthroughs, and overview sessions
- Review work products and deliverables
- Coordinate test cases and test plan walkthroughs with CMS
- Create various testing documentation, including test cases, test
scenarios, test metrics, defects, test summary reports, etc.
*Required Skills*
- Must have 3 to 5 years of manual testing experience of applications
with web services using J2EE and web user interfaces
- Must have hands-on experience with the QC, XML, and SQL
- Expertise in testing web-based applications and web services with
minimal to no user interface
- Ability to write and review test cases for manual testing
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be a team player, well organized and efficient with excellent
judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage and review the work of junior testers and testing
specialists independently
- Must have flexible schedule with the ability to work during different
shifts
- Testing experience using SOAP UI tool.
