This is a long term (12-18+ months) contract opportunity. * · *The Data Engineer will be the lead resource in designing and implementing a new data warehouse solution from the ground up and will be pivotal in long term strategy. * · *Key technical skills: NoSQL flavors including MongoDB, SQL, ETL, DW, data modeling, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and Node.JS.* Our client is looking for someone to build a data lake from the ground up. Position will be first of its kind and everything is greenfield – the only platform decisions that have been made is leveraging AWS. So this person will literally be driving this. Description: · Our client is looking to fill a full time contract position with an experienced data engineer. · This position will be the lead resource in designing and implementing a net new data warehouse solution from the ground up. · This position will work within an existing agile scrum development team, and will be pivotal in the long term data strategy. In fact this position will have significant input into technology choices within any proposed solution, as well as near complete autonomy to architect and implement the data warehousing strategy for the business. · This position will also lead in the consumption and ETL of existing disparate data sets. · The position will also require full stack javascript development in order to connect new and existing data sets with current application projects.
