Good Afternoon, We currently have 3 openings in Baltimore for Ruby on Rails Developers. *They must be able to go perm after the initial 6 month contract (EAD or GC only).* This will be a phone screen then in person interview. *Project:* Individual will be working in a small scrum team to leverage Ruby on Rails and deliver innovative medical research support software. Candidates will use exceptional skills and experience in web development. Candidate will be working on an in-house product suite that manages clinical research trials. The suite includes the enrollment process for potential studies, complex scheduling of active candidates, financial management, and specimen tracking. Candidates will use either Trac or Subversion to manage source code. *Must Haves:* - Possess strong object-oriented programming in dynamic languages like Ruby (eg Python, Perl) - Experience in web development using CSS, JavaScript (AJAX) - Experience building enterprise web applications - Experience with Test Driven Development/ Unit Testing using RSpec, Cucumber, Shoulda or Test::Unit - Experience working in an agile development environment - Have database design/development experience using MS-SQL, MySQL or Oracle - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills *Desirable:* Developing primarily with Ruby/ Rails for 2+ years At least 5 years of quality web development Established team lead Experience with Programming languages such as Erlang, Clojure, or Scala. *RSPEC* –a behavior driven development (BDD) framework for Ruby programming language *Cucumber*- is a tool that can execute plain-text documents as automated functional tests.
