*The keys are Actuate 9, Actuate iServer, production support experience and ideally previous financial industry experience. Below is the full job description* Job Title: *Actuate Developer/Production Support* Location: Indiana Duration: 6 months 50% Development / 50% Production Support Business Objects knowledge is a plus We want an excellent developer who is willing to do production support for this project and if he/she does well on this project then he/she will roll over to a new project which is straight up development. *Job Description:* This is an Actuate Production Support position with some development (enhancements development). What Versions of Actuate are you working with? *Actuate 9 SP3* Actuate 9 is mandatory as this is a production support role and development has been done in Actuate 9. SP 3 (Service Pack 3) is a plus as well. If this was a straight up development role, then Actuate 8 may have been ok but for this position, Actuate 9 is mandatory. This is for Actuate Production support, it’s preferable to have some server side experience. Server means Actuate iServer, Active Portal. Good to have some Production Support experience. If you can’t get version 9 then we can proceed with older version. Actuate iServer is not Hardware it’s an Application which will holds the reports, fulfill the requests from the other applications and does back ground jobs. Any other development languages you wish the candidate to have experience with? *Some Java, JSP. Data base: Oracle * Any other reporting tools they need to have experience with? (Some knowledge/idea about the ETL like Informatica – May not required but just process how it works/exposure) Is there anything else we should look for when it comes to finding good Actuate developers? Good to have some Actuate Server experience also. Also Business Objects knowledge is a plus.
