If you could be interested or have any resource please reply with current updated resume. *Sr Desktop Engineer * *Germantown, MD * *7.5 months* *Interview Mode:- In Person Interview, local preferred.* *DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT TASKS / DUTIES: * · SAP Business Objects Consultant. · The Client currently has a home grown procurement system and utilizes business objects to meet their reporting needs. They are going to move from the home grown system to procurement for public sector and utilize business objects as their current enterprise license of business objects to meet their reporting needs. · During this phase of the project, the candidate will mainly be attending workshops and working with the functional team to design (but not build) reports in business objects: · Candidate will need to attend functional workshops, record reporting requirements, and advise functional team on how business objects could be used to resolve those system requirements. · Responsible for estimating business objects workload to build custom reports utilizing data from SAP SRM Procurement for Public Sector. · Assist team in detailed FIT/GAP documentation, specifications, testing strategy, and architecture reviews to support Business Objects. *REQUIRED SKILLS:* · The candidate will be a strong communicator who is able to define business need and work with functional SAP SRM PPS consultants to design reporting solutions in Business Objects. · Experience Needed: requirements gathering, requirements analysis, FIT/GAP, working with functional team members to design the upcoming solution, estimating time to do the work. · Ability to defining a test strategy and training approach for end-users to work with business objects is required for success in this role. · Experience is required in SAP Business Objects Frontend tools.
