Must have experience working on high-transaction single page applications. 2) AngularJS Development, Testing, and Deployment (true production deployment) experience- * *not only how to develop stand-alone UI's for Single Page Applications (for quick customization), but how to test these UI's using Javascript Unit testing, NOT JUNIT. This involves Javascript framework testing using testing frameworks like Jasmine or Karma as well as understanding the logging/security aspects of Deploying Angular Code. 3) Server Side Development AND DEPLOYMENT with NodeJS- hands on experience not only developing the server side code, but also deploying into production- what modes to use, launch phases, best practices, scaling, etc for app management. * *Job Description:* The Opus Mobile team are responsible for the delivery of several applications that are used inside retail stores by sales people and self service kiosks, as well as partnering with Innovation / R&D to create new applications that will be used in the retail space. This is the team that creates the Point of Sale Software. Examples would be a mobile plan calculator where you can enter your data and minute usage to tell you which plan you should go with. Bundling features so you can purchase a phone, internet, and Digital Life all at once. They have several projects that were brought to them. The current team is full, so they need three new resources to not only help with these projects, but fill some skillset gaps they have on the team. They are looking to start creating stand-alone easily customizable/reusable UI's that can deployed quickly. Today the normal deployment process/testing using Junit and Weblogic does not allow for this. They are looking to bring on resources who can help guide them around the best practices of Developing/Deploying Angular UI's, how to test using Javascript frameworks, and deploy code into product using NodeJS. THESE ARE SINGLE PAGE APPLICATIONS- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THESE TYPES OF HIGH TRANSACTION HIGHLY RESPONSIVE APPLICATIONS. Day to Day: You will work within teams of 4-6 in a matrixed environment to complete projects. This will be a mix of Agile and waterfall delivery, so you must be comfortable with both. Overall there will be 70% front end work creating UX/IUI designs, developing the presentation layers, etc. 30% of the current project work is middle-tier/backend work where they are starting to use Restful webservices instead of SOAP (currently have SOAP WS), focusing on server side development for app management, scalability (NODEJS). IT IS MUCH MORE IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE ANGULAR/NODE DEV/TEST/DEPLOYT EXPERIENCE THAN THE J2EE STACK. These resources will bounce from various projects where they may work on the front end this week, then server side this next week. EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN IT ALL! Everyone on this team works through the full SDLC. This person needs to know how to develop end to end- from the GUI to the Database, but will be the SME's for these teams around Angular/Node. * Additional Information:* 2 Days Remote each week!!! Both frameworks will co-exist. Angular/Bootstrap/HTML5/CSS3/Javascript FROM SCRATCH. Middle Tier-Weblogic/Websphere/Jboss/ EJB stateless beans (currently moving to EJB 3). Apache CSX, NodeJS (serverside app management). Both SOAP and REST webservices.
