*Duties and responsibilities of the position:*
· Coding, unit/integration testing for projects short in duration.
Analysis and design capabilities as well as ability to monitor and judge
appropriate CPU performance..
*Skills -*
· Advanced mainframe skills (min of 5 years) to include: DB2, Cobol,
QMF, debugging/troubleshooting, testing, analysis, design, requirements
gathering, implementation.
· DB2 – familiar with coding testing SPs would be good. Prefer
people comfortable with using utilities.
· Batch – Familiar with JCL, procs using symbolics.
· CICS – familiar with using Intertest.
· Cobol – COBOL experience should be recent (past 5 years).
· Microfocus Cobol experience would be a benefit.
· Other third party product knowledge would help:
Freezeframe/QMF/Insync/Endevor/Dumpmaster/BMC).
· Self motivating with strong problem solving and communication
skills.
*Nice to have skills:*
· Any Netcentric Skills (ETL, Java/J2EE; Visual Basic; or VB.Net)
