Nihaki Systems has an immediate opening for a GIS developer in Jacksonville, FL. Local candidates who can interview in person will be preferred, but the client *will hire non locals over the phone*. This will be a one year contract onsite in Jacksonville. *Location: Jacksonville, FL* *Duration: 1 year* *Situation: Local candidates preferred, but will hire over the phone. No relocation covered.* *Rate: $40/ hr* Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new GIS applications or enhancements to existing applications using ESRI development tools ArcObjects and ArcSDE. *Development languages should include Java (including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, and Servlets) or .Net. *Must be able to apply SDLC concept and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
