*Position: Backup Consultant*
*Location: Los Angeles, CA*
*Duration: 6+months*
*NOTE :: Customer is looking for candidates with below mentioned skills
experience .*
*·** Net Backup *
*·** Backup Exec*
*·** HPDP *
*·** VEEAM*
*Key Accountabilities:*
· Nine or more years of relevant experience is required in managing
Backup Environment.
· Extensive project implementation work experience in NetBackup
7.6.X servers, Backup Exec 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2015 in CASO environment
and Veeam 8
· Performance management of Enterprise Backup environment
· Rich understanding & troubleshooting of backup failures and
issues by analyzing NetBackup logs on multiple platforms with varied
configurations
· Very good knowledge of NetBackup commands and OS level commands
and Strong understanding of NetBackup error codes and resolution
· Knowledge & clear understanding of NetBackup Reporting features
· Very good working knowledge with NDMP, Vault, Import,
Duplication, Restores
· Extensive working knowledge on Disk Pools, De-duplication storage
units
· Good Knowledge & experience in disk based backups which includes
HP B6200/ B6500 Store Once appliances in conjunction to Netbackup
· Good understanding and troubleshooting of databases backups
including Microsoft SQL or MySQL and Oracle (RMAN) and Exchange.
· Strong understanding of Backup Exec CASO and MMS environment.
- Extensive Troubleshooting experiences on error related to
De Dupe jobs.
- Errors and failures related to VSS
-Configurations of Reports jobs
-Installation and BE configuration of New CASO, MMS and
Clients.
-Creation and configuration of DeDupe storage.
-Addition/Deletion of Backups of new clients and performing
full recoveries.
· Strong understanding of Veeam and VMware concepts which includes
· Adding / Removing VMs to backup policies
· Performing VMs file level recoveries and FULL VM recoveries
(Windows & Linux)
· Familiarization with Veeam layout
· Create Backup Policies
· Open technical support cases with Veeam
· Collect logs for troubleshooting efforts
· Configure and target backup repositories on the B6200/B6500
