Required Skills 6+ years of experience as a database developer with SQL. Prior experience with MPP databases is required. Experience in h a Data warehouse environment is required. Experience designing staging areas for the ETL process. Experience with performance tuning in batch processes. Working in VLDB's (processing a terabyte of data a day). Working knowledge of Informatica is a plus. The client will be migrating from Oracle to Teradata, so previous experience with migrations is a plus. Prior experience with Unix is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work within a team environment. Prior experience in Consulting or working directly on a client site is a plus. BA, BS or related degree in CS, Information Systems or similar discipline required.
