This includes creating the base tables, associative tables, and views, and choosing and creating all indexes. The Physical Data Modeler uses input from the Business Information Modeler, the Capacity Planner, the Database Administrator, and the ETL Consultants. This individual must have the skills to understand the logical data model as well as the business requirements. The Physical Data Modeler may be the Lead Consultant on a project.
