The programs will involve a variety of technologies, including high-speed fiber optic networking protocols, CAN and Ethernet communications, Real-time Operating Systems and built-in diagnostics. The software is targeted for 32-bit microcontrollers and SOC systems. *Requirements* - BS/MS Computer Engineering or BS/MS Electrical Engineering with Software focus - 5-10 years of experience developing real-time embedded software - Demonstrated experience in board-bring-up, boot loaders and device drivers development - Solid Programming experience using C/C++ - Experience with one or more of the following peripheral protocols: I2C, UART, RS232, SPI - Experience using embedded troubleshooting tools such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Emulators and hardware based debuggers - Ability to understand PCB and Schematics to bring up new hardware - Strong software development skills and knowledge/experience in software engineering best practices (i.e. OOD, modularity, extensibility, reusability and maintainability) - Ability to work effectively with other team members including embedded application development, system and quality engineers - Experience with various software engineering tools – Subversion, JIRA, Crucible, - Quick Learner, excellent verbal and written technical communication skills *Preferred Skills* - Knowledge/experience in Audio Domain is a plus - Knowledge of Automotive Networking Protocols – CAN, MOST is a plus - Familiarity with Scripting languages – Python *Requirement #**2* *Role:- Software Tools Development Engineer * *Location: - Stow, MA* *Duration: - 6+months* *Implementing Partner:-Randstad* *Need only H1B/GC/GC-EAD/US Citizen* *Visa copy and one valid photo id mandatory for submission.* The Automotive Systems Division Software Development Tools engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining programs and scripts that enable amplifier development and quality teams in implementing and supporting premium vehicle audio systems.
