Solid experience with Linux infrastructure, deploying application in Jboss, Hortonwork Hadoop & Hbase. Proven working knowledge with Tableau and R. Previous work in the Aerospace field also a plus. *Description:* Immediate need for a full-time Applications Developer/Analyst to be part of a team supporting the development of new products for the Aerospace industry. This is a hands-on supervised position. Applicant must be prepared to readily execute coding, analysis and visualization tasks derived from project requirements. Applicant must also be willing to work on-site in the Mukilteo office of the greater Seattle Washington area. Essential Functions Develop software modules, dashboards and reports. Support development of customized tools for the aerospace industry. This is a hands-on applications development position with no managerial functions. Effective execution of assigned tasks is essential. Essential Knowledge Knowledge of Java at the expert level and able to write in Python. Solid experience with Linux infrastructure, deploying application in Jboss, Hortonwork Hadoop & Hbase. Proven working knowledge with Tableau and R. Previous work in the Aerospace field also a plus. Essential Skills Interest in working on projects with engineering and scientific applications. Good communication and cooperation skills. Affinity for solving numerical problems. Able to work well in a team environment. Education B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited institution is required. M.S. degree is preferred.
