Client is looking for *Business Analyst w/ Oracle Project Costing,
iProcurement –Boston, MA*. This is a* 3 *months Contract position*.  *The
Hourly rate is* DOE. *




*Overall Job Description:*


**



Scope of work includes installation, configuration and documentation of
Oracle’s Project Costing module for the purpose of test installation and
proof of concept of Oracle R11.5.10 iProcurement reconfiguration project; a
preliminary study to examine ways to transform procurement project workflow
enablement and processes in conjunction with the a reimplementation of
iProcurement; setup, configuration and workflow enablement of an Project
Costing in a proof of concept test environment to complete the integration
and business requirements of the iProcurement re-implementation efforts.




The Proof of Concept will be used to demonstrate iProcurement and will
require:

-Definition of project activities and expenditure classes.

-Project activities and Activity Attributes

-Allocation of funding sources to a project and funds distribution

-Creation, maintenance and finalized budget plans.

-Comparison of expenditures to budgets and forecasts.




Under general direction, the Business Analyst will be responsible for
developing business requirements and business process elicitation, analysis,
verification and validation; and system setup and recommendation for
integration with iProcurement; and for providing guidance to developers,
system engineers and quality assurance engineers to ensure that solutions
meet business and information needs and industry standards.




*Primary Responsibilities*


**

Elicits, documents, verifies and validates requirements through various
methods such as interviews, requirements workshops, document analysis,
external interface analysis and reverse

engineering

Specifies and models requirements and/or business processes to facilitate
the identification of an appropriate solution

Validates that solution requirements and/or future state business processes
meet stake holder’s needs in a proof of concept test environment.

Transforms requirements into functional specifications for application
configuration and setup documents

Validates that developed solution fulfills the solution requirements



Qualifications

-BS degree in Software Engineering, MIS or Computer Science, or equivalent
experience

-Business Analysis certification and /or formal training preferred.

-Seven years experience as a business analyst implementing commercial ERP
applications

-Three or more successful implementations of Oracle’s Project Costing
module, in conjunction with Purchasing or iProcurement modules.

-Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

-Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from
various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries

-Effective and clear verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills,
with the ability to communicate with numerous functional, technical and
operational stakeholders

-Documentation skills reflect a broad vocabulary and strong grasp of grammar
and style

-Strong organizational skills

-Self motivated, ability to work in a team or independently

-Proven ability to multitask, meet deadlines and demonstrate excellent time
management and prioritization skills

-Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging
tasks.

-Willingness to work beyond an eight hour day on short notice and occasional
evenings and weekends

-Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
