Coordinates basic UNIX system administration and operational support (e.g., hardware/software installation, maintenance and support, security, storage management, backup/restore and disaster recovery). Assists in testing, operational support, monitoring, capacity planning, and troubleshooting to maintain system normalcy. Develop, communicates, and monitors the operational standards and procedures for the UNIX based systems. Acts as a technical resource to the IT staff and systems users. The position requires teamwork skills to coordinate and support other teams who rely on our applications within the company.
