*Position : UTA ETL Team lead - qa* *Location: Richmond, VA* *Length: 3.31.10* *Rate: $40/hr* *Primary Skill Requirement: *Quality Assurance *Project Description:* *Test Lead for UAT (ETL Validation and Reporting) * Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies. Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products. Also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. *Description of Duties * • Perform as the business UAT lead for the ETL project within the overall project • Interact directly with the BA and testers to ensure that all testing requirements are understood and fulfilled; this may involve training them on the use of CQ and/or creating test cases and requesting test data, as needed • Interact with other test leads and management • Report to the PM Test Lead for the overall program • Flexibility and ability to understand detailed tasks around the project extremely quickly; i.e. work directly with the SIT leads to onboard and understand the project and his/her responsibilities within 1 – 2 days; this is critical due to the timeline constraints of the project • Provide status and metric reports as requested *Skills:* • May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. • 2 - 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks. • May lead and direct the work of others. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. • Level 3 -6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. • Excellent multitasking, leadership and managerial skills required. • Knowledge of a variety of technologies and/or the ability to understand technology dependencies and manage technology integration required. Knowledge/skills Required: • ETL knowledge and experience is a must • Proven experience communicating and working work the business (Leadership and BA’s) • At least 3 years experience as a senior/lead tester • Experience creating Test Plans, Test Cases and other QC&T documentation, to include closing testing documentation • Experience using a defect tracking tool, preferably Rational ClearQuest Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
