*Position: QA Lead* *Location: Pittsburgh, PA* *Interview: Phone & F2F* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Responsibilities:* • Build a strong QA team and culture. • Work with System Engineers and Internal Partners on requirements. • Collaborate on design review with cross functional groups; develop schedules, specifications, detail designs, and system procedures to enable on time delivery of defect free software systems. • Interface with both engineers and internal customers on production issues. • Create test cases for all documented requirements. • Create test data and configure test environments. • Execute functional and regression tests. • Develop QA reporting structures that track, monitor and report defects. • Provide exceptional communication to all project staff and management. • Consistently deliver defect free software, on schedule. • Proactively identify and resolve QA issues. • Generate historical analysis of test results. • Document anomalies and issues. • Examine code and execution of code in various environments. • Verify specific action or function of code. • Participate in application planning meetings. • Ensure data integrity standards. • Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections. *Requirements:* • Must have led a QA team • Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies; • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills; • Ability to adapt quickly to rapidly changing technology; • Have strong understanding of database fundamentals and software development life cycle; • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field and 3+ years QA experience is required. *Nice to Haves:* • Experience with large replatforming projects with many moving pieces; • Background with several COTS eCommerce applications, specifically Demandware, Oracle EBS, HighJump WMS, and MuleSoft iPaaS • Experience providing QA for custom applications written in RoR and Go among others.
