The position is focused on project management committed to delivering programs on-time through the application of professionally accepted program and project management methods, techniques, and tools. Candidate may support 5-6 medium to large and/or many more small projects that are focused on the creation of process maps and driving to standard work across the facilities and business units that we serve. * *JOB DUTIES: * · *The incumbent will apply prior project management and business process modeling experience and will need to work independently requiring minimal supervision for all transactional duties. * · *He/she supports projects that have significant value and may be very complex in nature. * · *This is a staff position that requires an excellent understanding and application of program and project management tools applied to the design and management of business processes. * · *The incumbent will provide facilitation for business process project teams, scheduling and leading meetings and chartering/planning sessions for medium to large projects. * · *He/she will design process maps using standard templates and industry accepted methodologies requiring a deep understanding of Unified Modeling Language (UML), Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN), and following the American Productivity and Quality Center (APQC) formats. * · *Maintains accurate project schedules and communicates project milestones through monthly reports demonstrating process and project activities updates. * · *Maintains master process inventory for the division, manage incoming continuous process improvement suggestions (following lean methodology), and connect with other teams outside of the division where processes connect and hand-offs are made across the enterprise. * · *Make recommendations to the process team supervisor to resolve schedule and project issues and for clarification of goals and deliverables.* *BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: * · *This position requires a four year college or university degree* · *Business degree preferred. Five years of job-related experience in program management or process design. Exposure to procurement, transportation, engineering, product development, or IT desired.* · *Must have very strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills, strong meeting facilitation skills, and the ability to influence others. * · *Must possess extensive knowledge of project management software (Primavera or MS Project), MS Office (Excel/Word/Powerpoint), Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and Web Publishing tools. * *Additional Job Details:* *Incumbent will need to demonstrate previous process mapping experience and skills in Microsoft Office products. Travel to local (Peoria area) facilities to meet with project teams frequently - requiring personal transportation between facilities. * *Candidate Responsibilities:* *You will ensure that the division has defined standard work, processes defined and aligned to roles and responsibilities so that our teams can execute efficiently across the Source to Deliver enterprise processes / value streams. Position also provides direct consultation to teams to understand gaps and to identify areas to optimize against the current standard work. The Global Supply Network Division’s (GSND) core processes are a critical and central component of the division-wide transformation and will align to the roles, controls, learning needs, business tools, and operational definitions used by the teams. Once processes are defined, each will be optimized for efficiency gains, opportunities for lower cost alternative paths, elimination, and/or automation. The position will: assist teams with the reduction of wasteful transactional work and unnecessary complexity, bring clarity to job roles, and improve Source to Deliver operational efficiencies and relationships with our business partners and supplier network partners. This position will integrate GSND processes with the enterprise Business Process Modeling architecture and will align to the Enterprise Business Process Framework (EBPF). * *Job Duties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):* · *Design and Develop the Source to Deliver Business Architecture, Core Business Processes, and Standard Work * · *Align Internal and External Processes and Operational Definitions * · *Align GSND Business Processes with Enterprise Business Process Framework * · *Consult Teams and Leaders on Business Process Improvements * · *Utilize Benchmarking Data to Recommend and Improve Processes * · *Define of Business Process Measurements/Metrics and Key Gates * · *Identify Gaps and Develop Improvement Projects * *Typical Day:* · *Will work closely with subject matter experts on the development of core processes. * · *Schedule meetings, facilitate discussions during the meetings, provide notes after the meetings that include action items and next steps. * · *Then follow-up on the next steps and facilitate the completion of mapping and projects deliverables. * · *Will design and qualify process maps using Visio software and Value Stream Mapping Techniques that will become the standard work for the Division and enterprise.* · *Will work closely with other Process Mapping leads across the division. * · *Will create process maps following our defined standard using APQC methodology for hierarchy and BPMN standards for the visual depiction of flows and hand-offs, etc. * · *When Business Process Maps are completed they will be reviewed by the steering committee, the architect will prepare materials for release and moving the maps and support documents from the design to controlled / governed state, maps will be aligned to learning, maps are then inventoried in our master inventory tool, and made available for users for the execution of roles via defined digital weblinks and mediums. * *Technical Skills:* · *Business Process Modeling (BPM) and/or Demonstrated Process Design and Modeling Creation Capabilities * · *Microsoft Visio Process Mapping Experience Required (primary tool for mapping processes) * · *Microsoft Project or Equivalent Project Management Systems Experience Required (primary tool for managing and reporting project status) * · *Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word Experience Required (tools we use to communicate and manage projects) * · *5 plus years of previous professional work experience in one of more of the following fields: Procurement, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Engineering * · *Bachelor Degree in Business, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering Focus (ability to understand business / manufacturing / material flows and hand-offs) * · * Previous 6 Sigma experience and Value Management experience is a plus * *Soft Skills:* · *Demonstrated Leadership Skills * · *Strong Oral, Written, Communication, and Presentation Skills * · *Strong Analytical and Consensus Building Experience * · *Facilitation of Complex Ideas and Multi-Layered Processes * · *Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the business unit to take specific actions * · *Able to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures with the ability to resolve differences * · *Strong Collaborative, Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills in order to drive common processes and the prioritization of enhancements across multiple departments/divisions* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
