*Position: Cisco Network Voice Engineer * *Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 6+ Months Interview: Phone Hire * *Position can be worked out of Charlotte, North Carolina or alternatively, Syracuse, NY* *Job Description* · This role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IPT environment and Call Center applications. · This is achieved by optimizing network software and associated operating systems as well as developing, coding, testing and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software. · Candidates must have good understanding of contact center applications and work with technical staff to provide Tier III support to resolve problems and develop prevention plans as needed. *Job Requirement* · Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience in a Cisco IPT environment. · Must have experience with Cisco Communication Manager, voice gateways, QOS, SIP, and Cisco Unity Connection. Some working knowledge of the other traditional telephony/telecom system is also a must. · 5+ years of applicable CTI experience · Minimum of 4 years of experience in a large scale telephony environment · Experience with SDLC and release management tools and processes · Communication skills (both oral and written) to develop and deliver the key messages for our customer and internally · Technical skills required include UCCE, PCCE, QOS, and SIP · Strong programming skills in CVP, ICM, Java and/or VB scripting are a must · Application knowledge of CUIC, NICE, Calabrio, Finesse · Project management disciplines - task planning, financial planning, and issue management · Fluent with Windows Server 200x, Active Directory and SQL Server 200x will be needed to help maintain this environment. Linux a plus. · Knowledge of local and long-distance carriers.
