Position                                : Sr. Business Program Manager - USER 
EXPERIENCE

Length of contract             : 6 + months (Part-time 30 hrs per week)

Location                               : San Jose, CA

 

Prefer local to CA

Phone screen followed by In-person interview
Need two professional references from recent projects


Seeking a detailed oriented, team focused, project manager to drive multiple 
phases of the project. You will be required to work cross-functionally and 
cross-organizationally to achieve the goals of the program. 

Must have skills: 

- 10+ years of Project Management experience 
- Excellent verbal and written communications 
- Service business knowledge, Action oriented, takes Initiative 
Learning agility 
- Cross-functional teamwork and collaboration 
- Proven ability to problem solve, Adaptability/flexibility 
- Education: Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) required, Masters Degree 
preferred. 

Experience: 

- Must have background in service delivery and direct experience with 
Customers/Partners. 
- Experience with cross-functional teams and matrixed resources required. 
- Knowledge in Customer Experience Design preferred. 
- Experience with strategic organizational change preferred. 
- 10 plus years business experience required. 

Responsibilities: 

Project Management - work with team to establish and maintain the project 
plans, document the execution results, and provide project performance analysis 
and reports to the leadership team. Work with team to synthesize results and 
document proposals and recommendations. 

Program Planning - creating and executing the overall program roadmap and 
program schedule; Defining the standards, methodologies, operational structure 
and norms; risk identification and planning, defining program metrics, 
measurements and goals. 

Execution and Management - managing integration interdependencies and alignment 
of projects and/or tracks of work within and across functions as required; make 
and ensure decision to optimize effectiveness and drive goal achievement. 

Stakeholder Management and Communication - identifying and establishing 
partnerships with stakeholders to build support, secure sponsorship, and ensure 
alignment for program outcomes; manage communication and information to ensure 
all stakeholders are informed at all levels. 

Deliverables: 

- Program Charter, Roadmap/Implementation Plan, Organizational Change 
Management Strategy, Communication Plan, Impact Analysis, Meeting documentation 
& presentations, Program assessments and reviews, Project plan and schedule and 
Status Tracking 

Desired Skills: 

Change Management: Ability to paint a clear and compelling picture of the 
future state of change in order to drive team and stakeholder behavior; 
champion appropriate application of change; ability to apply knowledge of 
external benchmarks and best practices to change initiatives. 

Enterprise Perspective: Experienced in service and/or service delivery, ability 
to analyze situations and opportunities with a broad, strategic view; 
integrates business and technology requirements of multiple clients and 
customers to achieve solutions that work across the enterprise
