Reply only to *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *Role: Mainframe Admin/Lead* Location: Sioux City, IA/ Portland, OR Duration: 6+ months contract Level of Expertise: L3 *Job description:* § Client seeks a Mainframe Admin/Lead for a large program. § The ideal candidate should have good experience in CICS & DB2; Should have experience in Production support and data migration. *Required Skills* § Overall experience around 10+ years in Mainframe § Should possess OS based knowledge § Familiar with CICS upgrade (v3.1 / v5.2) § Excellent Client facing skills. § Excellent written and oral communication skills. § Knowledge / Experience in Oracle 11g and 10g would be an added advantage § Good experience in Performance monitoring and Database Patches. § Ability to manage deliverables in an onsite/offshore model *Responsibilities* § As a delivery lead, you will be responsible for delivery of managed service for a large managed service area. § Monitoring and Health Check to provide performance reports. § Process consultant for the distributed systems § Responsible for o CICS upgrade for v3.1 to 5.2 o CAGen upgrade from v7x to v8.5 o BlueZone client software rollout is planned, DB2 V10 upgrade. o Lead Off-shore/Near-shore DBA team, Defining standard operating procedures, Mentoring to DBA team, Budget & Time Management, DB Process documentations. *Minimum Qualification* Ø Experience in Offshore- Onsite model. *Desired Qualification* Ø Good experience in Database backup management, DB Patch management, Technology obsolescence management *Day to day activities expected:* This e-mail and any files transmitted with it are for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain confidential and privileged information.
