*Please send resume to **[email protected] <[email protected]>* Job Title: .Net Developer w/Python Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of NC Rate: $45-50/hr on C2C This position will be assigned to the CAST Performance Team. It is an advanced software development role in a team environment requiring a solid understanding of application and system development. Strong skills in .Net application source code development, complex system integration, software configuration management, and development processes are required. This .Net Programmer role will be responsible for: • Working with respective application teams to extract/export all .Net components needed for CAST AIP • Working with the CAST Technical Lead and application teams to identify top critical violations associated with each health factor for analyzed .Net applications • Review and customization of the architectural rules used for CAST analysis • Identification and documentation of the inclusion points for CAST results within the DOT IT SDLC • Remediation of violations identified by CAST while working in conjunction with the .Net application teams CAST is an enterprise –grade software quality analysis and measurement solution designed to analyze multi-tiered technology applications for technical vulnerabilities and adherence to architectural and coding standards. Additional responsibilities may include, but not be limited to: 1. Development and enhancement of applications based on established design specifications 2. Analysis, design, coding, component/assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team 3. Implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements 4. Writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions, maintenance (including production support) 5. Unit testing applications and developing system and user documentation Proficiency with Visual Studio.NET 2010, C# and Python in a service oriented architecture (SOA). Required5Years Proficiency developing and deploying .NET solutions with IIS. Required5Years Proficiency with installing and configuring software in a Microsoft server environment. Required3Years Knowledge of industry standards including (UML, XML, XSD, XSLT, HTML, CSS, Web Services, SOAP, REST, AJAX). Required3Years Knowledge of software development methodologies. Required3Years Experience with Software Configuration Management tools. e.g. Team Foundation Server, CVS, Subversion, or Clear Case. Required3Years The ability to develop activity schedules for implementation of CAST-related changes into the DOT SDLC Required3Years The ability to work proficiently with very minimal daily guidance. Required3Years The ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
