Prefer experience on both UNIX (including Linux) and Windows platforms. • Development experience with Java, XML, Perl, STL, and web services technologies • Experience with distributed systems or a large enterprise background is necessary. • Rich experience on performance management and capacity planning. • Experience in architecture of storage networks and storage virtualization • Experience with Windows and Unix platforms • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Experience working with remote teams • Software development experience with a proven track record and practical experience with a full lifecycle software methodology • Strong knowledge of object-oriented and service oriented design with practical use of design patterns. • Deep knowledge of computer and network architecture, operating system, virtualization, and storage subsystems • More emphasis on developing software or management tools for virtualization platforms (any UNIX, or Intel based virtualization platform). • Experience with database design, programming and optimization for enterprise wide software systems • More emphasis on experience with developing in Java using J2EE platform * Position Descriptions: *Primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining the Performance Assurance product. The ideal candidate will have experience working with enterprise infrastructure development particularly in Object Oriented and Service Oriented software, web services, and XML-based technologies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Design solutions to performance and capacity management. • Develop code, perform unit testing, and debug applications using prescribed programming languages, tools, and technologies • Building enterprise application and business critical processes • Work with virtual team/management to collect and prioritize system requirements, develop delivery plans and meet aggressive deadlines for the enterprise-wide content management implementation project • Coordinate quality assurance and testing with users of the new infrastructure • Write necessary documentation and procedures for implementation • Maintain all codes generated or updated • Ensure that project issues are communicated in a timely and effective manner • Good understanding of troubleshooting and performance tuning of multi-layered application *Position Attributes: *• A passion for design, data analysis, problem solving and hands-on development • Strong decision-making skills; take-charge personality, and the ability to drive a plan to completion • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Knowledge and experience on computer performance analysis and modeling are a plus. • Motivation to learn new concepts and proactively develop domain knowledge • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as being a team player • Effective and timely communication with the remote team * Education/training required: *M.S.
