*Job Duties: *

Develop, maintain and leverage embedded firmware features for hardware
platforms. Embedded firmware features include network connectivity
protocols, mobile connectivity support, and connectivity solutions.



Responsibilities include implementation of industry standards, protocols,
and libraries to provide connectivity features for embedded product
firmware. Additional responsibilities may include performance analysis,
integrating open source packages within existing embedded firmware, and
specification or creation of development tools.



*Specific Job Responsibilities: *

·         Design, Develop, Debug and Maintain embedded firmware including
Linux application, library, device driver, and kernel level programming.

·         Evaluate, integrate, and maintain open source software within an
embedded firmware environment.

·         Work within the team to coordinate project development within
product family development paradigm.

·         Coordinate investigation of connectivity issues across multiple
products

·         Lead less experienced members of the team in developing and
debugging best practices.

·         Leverage an existing code base to a new microprocessor
architecture.



*Qualifications: *

·         BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science. (MS degree
preferred.)

·         Strong C/C++ programming experience.

·         5+ years developing in a Linux/Android programming environment

·         Experience with embedded firmware development

·         Good verbal and written communication skills.

·         Experience with mobile device network troubleshooting is a plus.

·         Experience with network protocols and troubleshooting, including
Wireshark, is a plus.

·         Experience with Linux system logging is a plus.

·         Experience with IPP, AirPrint, Mopria, or other mobile print
standards is a plus.

·         Experience in Java programming is a plus.
