Description: ** The Senior Web Server Systems admin will provide technical leadership and also actively contribute to the design, development, integration, test, documentation and support of the client’s server application, with a focus on systems design to support reliability, recovery, and scaling. This hands-on position requires broad en admin competence and in-depth technical knowledge of web application software development, as well as demonstrated experience successfully designing and implementing complex integrated systems in a high volume, high reliability environment. Responsibilities:** •Architect integrated software solutions to support high reliability and availability, graceful degradation, automated recovery, and rapid, cost-effective scaling** •Determine current limitations and compatibilities between subsystems •Identify and select new design patterns and methodologies •Identify and select third party and open source software and hardware components to implement non-functional requirements such as load balancing, data caching, recovery and restart sequencing, etc.** •Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications Required Qualifications:** •Ten+ years software development or systems admin experience** •Five+ years systems integration and design, with demonstrated delivery of large scale, high reliability consumer facing internet based systems** •Demonstrated mastery of large scale Internet application environments (especially JVMs, caching technologies and frameworks, and load balancing) networking (TCP/IP), operating systems (Unix required, Linux preferred), and object oriented design patterns** •Prior development experience with embedded Linux, C/C++, DHTML, Flash, Java, DLNA, web server development, or Silverlight or similar application environment experience a plus •Detailed working knowledge of messaging, remoting, RPCs, DOM, JSON, SOAP, and AJAX •Working familiarity with DRM or encryption technologies •Exceptional interpersonal communication skills: oral, written, and listening, including customer relationships ** •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, Masters Degree a plus *Please complete the following skills-matrix and send back with your updated resume.* Full Name: Degree Major: Total IT exp: Total exp as Senior Web Server Systems admin: Total exp in systems integration and design in Large scale internet based systems: Total exp with Internet application environments (especially JVMs, caching technologies and frameworks, and load balancing): Total exp in networking (TCP/IP), operating systems (UNIX) (Please Specify): Total exp with object oriented design patterns: Total exp with embedded Linux, C/C++, DHTML, Flash (Please Specify): Total exp with Java, DLNA, web server development or Silverlight (Please Specify): Do you have knowledge of messaging, remoting, RPCs, DOM, JSON, SOAP, and AJAX?
