Location: Durham, NC Duration: 12 Months Direct Client Position Client: State of NC NC FAST seeks 1 contract Senior Java Developer to assist with the development and implementation of NC FAST Projects. This resource will have delivery responsibilities as part of NC FAST to work closely with senior technical consultants on case management system design and development. Duties include assisting with design requirements development, code development, Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, functional design and life cycle management for the implementation of NC FAST. Responsibilities also include reporting status to the project manager and adhering to DHHS policies and procedures. Experience as a Java developer with experience in the full life cycle of requirements through functional design and testing. Required5Years Experience in problem identification and integration of technical skills to address and solve issues. Required7Years Experience in translating and communicating technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users. Required5Years Experience with creating and writing technical documens using MS Office products, Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Required5Years Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting an sense of urgency; independently identify options. Required5Years Experience using JavaScript. Required5Years Technical knowledge in the following areas of web application system analysis and programming: Java, J2EE, J2SE, XML, and XSL. Required5Years Technical knowledge of Eclipse, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets and Web Services Standards (SOAP and WSDL). Required5Years Experience with Oracle database platforms and tools. Required5Years Experience with JavaScript and IBM Websphere.
