They should be very well abreast of business processes and have the ability to drive the roadmap and come up with the SAP solution. • Business process understanding • Gather requirements and make recommendations on new solutions • Creating functional specs / blue prints / roadmap design etc. • Manufacturing experience – product costing /new GL etc. Position 2 – Working on one specific project – CO – Can be a high end functional resource w/solution architecture - redoing Project Costing across different plants. They should be very well abreast of business processes and have the ability to drive the roadmap for this specific project. • Functional resource who will be hands on with configuration. • Manufacturing experience – product costing /new GL etc. – MUST be very heavy CO/Product Costing • Sits with IT and works w/other cross functional SAP resources. • Not heavily involved in gathering requirements because this has already been completed…may have some duties if they choose to change some functionality • Writing functional specs. • They will be involved in the testing, but not heavily.…fit/UAT/functional Communication is HUGE for both resources. Description: Our great client is looking for multiple SAP FI/CO Solution Architects for 6 month contracts with extension likely in the Milwaukee, WI area. *Ideal candidates will have experience with SAP, and 4-5 years of Solution Architect experience.* Architects in design maintenance of an Enterprise SAP template for the Record to Report (FI/CO/PS) process area. The Enterprise SAP COE Sr. Solution Architect- RTR Solution Architecture will work with business counterparts in delivering solutions based on best practices, business processes SAP expertise. The SAP landscape under the scope of this position would be multiple SAP instances in client globally, which would subsequently be replaced by the global SAP solution (across BU’s). Initially this role is BU specific but would gradually become an Enterprise role with responsibility of a specific process template within the Enterprise Process Area. With Solution Architecture responsibility, the Enterprise SAP COE Sr. Solutions Architect- RTR Solution Architecture (SAP FI/CO) will play the role of SAP SME and will be responsible for the template governance of the SAP landscape and strategic initiatives in RTR areas. *Role and Responsibilities* · Analyzes business requirements and translates them into high level design based on SAP best practices. · Supports the design and maintenance of client’s Enterprise ERP Record to Report Template according to business requirements and ensure its continued governance and evolution. This includes reviews and signoffs to production changes such as configuration and enhancements and associated system design and deployment deliverables such as functional configuration specs, test results etc. · Provides consultation to application owners, business partners and peer groups regarding long and shortrange architecture solutions to meet business imperatives. Recommends solutions and develop business case alternatives which anticipate the future direction of the business, its drivers and technology strategy. · Translates business process, master data best practice requirements into executable design and estimation deliverables. · Responsible for building Proof of Concept/prototyping SAP functionality for validation of the proposed solutions in the RTR domain. · Provide SAP Expertise for the design, analysis estimation of business driven projects within the framework of the RTR Enterprise template in the pre and post UNITY program landscape for client’s. · Actively collaborate with COE counterparts across COE pillars such as Project Delivery, Tech Services, IT Operations and QA and Business Analytics to consistently deliver ERP application projects with a high level of quality and functionality that meets the business user’s requirements. *Ideal candidates will have experience with* 5+ years of SAP implementation experience across multiple lifecycles of SAP implementation and support for core RTR-FI process are such as *Experience with* · _ FI-AP.
