*Sr/Lead QA Engineer – Manual* *Plainsboro, NJ / New York City* *Long term* Client looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with proven Software testing, agile methodology, testing life cycles, software development life cycles and communication skills. Engineer will be responsible for writing manual test cases , work with Project manager to give estimates, Perform Successful Production deployments with operation team and mentor Junior QA staff. Engineer will have 2 or more QA engineer reporting to him/her on regular basis and will manage multiple large scale projects. The Senior QA engineer will define QA process, risk analysis documentations and design QA strategies for various projects, and make recommendation for process and framework improvements. *Responsibilities:* Design and execute test strategy / plan/ Test Scripts and test cases for existing and new features for Mobile and web applications. Report well written bugs and track it through closure in co-ordination with developer, product and project manager. Contribute proactively to better the software testing process. Work closely across the engineering team to develop great products. Write risk analysis, status reports, performance test measurement reports and Project summery/status reports. Assess and understand the scope of client Products and recommend a comprehensive and effective test approach. Develop and track QA milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall QA integrated delivery plan. *Job Requirements:* Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area. Around 5-7 years of software development and software testing experience Expert in Software testing life cycle knowledge in conjunction with SDLC and agile software development. Expert in software testing, Web and mobile applications, and automation concepts and implementations. Must have sound knowledge of Web architecture and related technologies Must have strong Web application testing experience and Mobile testing experience. Must have strong verbal, written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Must be a great team player Must have leadership and management skills to manage 2 or more QA engineers. Database knowledge, preferably MS-SQL Server is required. Load and Performance testing experience is a plus. Must be a strong individual contributor with good multitasking and time management skills.
